About New Hope Chapel

Our desire at New Hope Chapel is to offer and demonstrate a new hope to those who have lost hope. We do this by displaying the hope we have in Jesus Christ and his grace bestowed upon all who receive him as their Savior and Lord.

We are a church designed to follow our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Word of God written for us to observe in scripture, therefore our main emphasis is placed upon the teaching of God’s Word.

We are a church that is empowered by God’s Holy Spirit.

We teach, receive and exhibit the grace of God, focusing on the points in scripture where all Christians can agree, rather than those positions that divide believers.

We believe that worship is an important part of our service to God, and that our attention in worship, must focus upon Jesus and therefore have as few distractions as possible.

As a church, our desire is to experience God’s love and then share his love with others.

We place a strong emphasis upon relationships, which we encourage to develop in fellowship activities such as the breaking of bread, which includes communion at every Sunday service and our Sunday brunch after service. The breaking of bread also includes our backyard barbecues, our holiday meals, our prayer dinners and our coffee house. We also promote fellowship and relationships by our working together within various ministries, inside the church and outside of our four walls.

We believe in the encouragement of ministries and the exploration of gifts and callings within the body of Christ, thereby not limiting the Holy Spirit to our own ideas.

We are a church that is committed to God and committed to His people. We are desirous of all the wisdom, power and love that God might share with us, so that we might share what we have been given with others, helping to enable all believers to become all that they might be, in the body of Christ.

These are some of the things that we believe as the church because we continue to see these things succeed. I have personally seen and experienced a new hope spring up in my life and the lives of many of my friends, within the church. This new hope has given us a new focus on life, a new goal in life and a new joy for life, such as I have never seen before. Its rewards continue to bring the fullest, freest, most satisfying life, ever experienced.

We offer this new life and new hope to you and to anyone who is not yet satisfied with life. We offer ourselves as a living testimony of the powerful change in our lives, so that you might see and know the power of God available to all, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
